Guide

Students and leaders must follow all rules established by Harvey Cedars Bible Conference and Big Beach Weekend Director Steve Dallwig.

  No girls in guys’ rooms and no guys in girls’ rooms.

• 02

  No tobacco, alcohol, drugs, guns, knives, fireworks, water balloons, or water guns.

• 03

  Bayview is off limits to campers.

• 04

  No one under 18 may leave camp premises without a leader.

• 05

  Staff must stay off the roofs of buildings.

• 06

  Do not remove screens from windows.

• Attend the mandatory morning counselor meeting.
• Keep students on camp property unless the camp director approves an off-site activity.
• Know where your students are at all times.
• Be with and available for students.
• Enforce modest swimwear for your students.
• Care for students and take them to the hospital if needed.
• Encourage students to drink water. Dehydration is the #1 issue every year.
• Take responsibility for broken items in your area. Do not remove screens.
• Throw away any trash you see.
• Clean your area and the camp before departure. Leave no trace.
• The bay and all roof areas are off limits.
• Your church may swim only in its assigned beach area with lifeguard coverage.
• Camp directors and youth leaders may search a student’s belongings if suspicion arises.
• Honor the camp nurse’s hours of operation.
• Lights out means lights out.

• Enter the beach through Mercer Avenue only.
• Do not use private lanes.
• Stay off the dunes. The town may impose substantial fines.
• Parking on Middlesex and Mercer is very limited. Walk or shuttle students to the beach.
• Use the sidewalk along Cedars Avenue.
• If you drive, follow posted parking restrictions at street ends.
• Fill out a beach report each day.

Be considerate of conference guests and neighbors. Everyone is expected to be in their rooms by the posted schedule time.
